Tychus

About Tychus:

On Tychus an aquatic landing would be the most optimal landing solution for both collecting land based and water based samples and specimens. Tychus is probably our most foliated planet surface and the impact craters are much older but have amassed a great deal of archaeological findings and perfected soil samples, helping us understand the acidity and body composition of the past and current life forms. The soils of Tychus include a lot of organic based matter decomposed within and a more neutral PH level, making it an ideal host environment for growth and development. The oxygen content is close to that of high altitude areas commonly found on earth, so though a bit winded at times more than usual, it is habitable for our alien presence. Common sights on Tychus would be rivers, lakes, and very steep cliff sides offset by the Seas. It has a variety of prairies, moors and forests, making for a diverse set of evolution and wildlife. The weathering and layers of rock deduct a slew of consistent nautical storms in the earlier development of the planet when it was still more colorless and volatile but evidence shows that due to more recent times and weather patterns Tychus has become more dormant and hospitable.

Important Regions:

-The Highlands (Located to the southeast. High winds are broken by chiseled dry layered stone and covered in thick fibered mid waist grasses)

-The Woven Forest (Rich soils make this eastern portion of the continent habitable to massive flora and has created a sea of interlocked and woven trees too thick to observe the forest floor)

-The Castle (A Raised small island that is surrounded by Tychus's central sea, Similar to the islands of Madagascar on Earth and isolated from the other sprawling continents. Rich in soil and ocean deposits, this green spot houses unknown creatures and landmarks due to their lack of predators and other species influences )

-The Glacial Shores (The remnants of a massive scale storm that Tychus had endured a millennia ago. Parts of the sea and mountains remain frozen indefinitely, but act as a purifying source of water that carries west to the Woven Forest)

Discovered Species:

Alabaster (The Highlands)

Rauchana (The Castle)

Drakopup (The Castle)

Spadix (The Woven Forest)

Xenocat (The Woven Forest)

Barghest (The Glacial Shores)
